Twelfth Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament Fall 2015

Dodgeball for Diabetes celebrated the twelfth annual Dodgeball Tournament, crowning four champions for the Fall of 2015. The tournament featured forty teams comprising of over 263 players all of which came together to to have fun, while raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.

The Tournament, designed to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes, raised over $9,500.

The Champions of each circuit are listed below, but in my mind the real winners are the teams that raised more than the minimum required amount.

Locally one team raised over $1,000 on their own, and for their efforts, members of "Daj Mahbal" received a bundle of dodgeball clothes and memorabilia. Also earning top honors in the Senior Circuit "Big Daddy and the Boys" also raised close to $1,000, with $893.

How it all went down

• Rookie Circuit
  In the Rookie Circuit, Come Up Firing (7-0, 14-1) came out victorious with a 2-0 win over Don't Hit Me, Bro (4-3, 8-8). In the semi-finals Don't Hit Me, Bro dispatched of the only other undefeated squad Dirty Dodgers (3-1, 7-3) by the count of 2-1.
• Junior Circuit
  In the Junior Circuit, Free J.M.H. (7-0, 14-0) turned back Dodgeball's Finest (5-3, 11-6) two games to none. Dodgeball's Finest eliminated two unbeaten squads, The Dodgesaurs (4-1, 8-4) and the Super Dodgers (5-1, 10-4) on the road to the finals. Free J.M.H. was the only team to not lose a single game in the tournament.
• Senior Circuit
  In the Senior Circuit, Average Bro's (7-1, 15-5) eliminated Big Daddy and the Boys (7-1, 15-3) two games to one, the Average Bro's also took out previously undefeated Daj Mahbal (6-1, 13-3) and G.O.A.T. (4-1, 9-3) on the way to the Finals. Big Daddy and the Boys defeated the previously unbeaten 6 Gods of Dodge (6-1, 13-3) in the semi-finals.
  
• Belles Circuit
  In the Belles of Dodgeball Finals, No Hit Sherlock (2-5, 6-10) eliminated FMA (3-4, 7-10) two games to zero. No Hit Sherlock defeated the Fanny Pack Crew (3-4, 6-9) in the semi-finals while FMA beat the Hot Targets (1-5, 2-10) on the other side of the bracket.
