Fifth Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament Fall 2008
EphrataMounts.com celebrated the fifth annual Dodgeball Tournament, crowning three champions for the Fall of 2008. Thirty-five teams comprising of over 232 players came together to to have fun while raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.
The Tournament designed to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes raised over $13,000 profit, marking the third straight year that over $10,000 was raised.
The Champions of each circuit are listed below, but in my mind the real winners are the teams that raised more than the minimum required amount.
Four teams, Head Count ($2,887.54), Justice League ($1,992.59), South of Center ($648.00) and The Natural Disasters ($590.00), all raised more then 500 dollars!! Other teams raising over $200 each were; The Mercenaries, The Cyclones, The Black Mambas, The Cavemen, and the Hotties.
For their efforts, both the Head Count (Senior Circuit) and the Justice League (Junior Circuit) received a bundle of dodgeball clothes and memorabilia.
