Seventeenth Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament Fall 2021

Dodgeball for Diabetes celebrated the seventeenth annual Dodgeball Tournament, crowning three champions for the Fall of 2021. The tournament featured seventeen teams comprising of over 113 players all of which came together to to have fun, while raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.

The Tournament, designed to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes, raised over $3,400.

The Champions of each circuit are listed below.

2021 Schedules now Ready

Pool play times are now available! There are mandatory meeting times for all circuits on the schedule. All matches will be played at the Ephrata Senior High School.

Once again, all teams playing in the pools on Friday night and Saturday, will be seeded and advance to the single elimination tournament which will be held Saturday afternoon.

Do not that the Rookie Circuit will kickoff at 6:00 on Friday evening along with the Junior Circuit. We encourage all rookie players (in additon to Captains), attend the 5:30 Captain's meeting where rules and expectations will be discussed.

Per school guidelines masks will be expected to be worn indoors by everyone that is not currently playing a match. This tournament benefits children with compromised immune systems, and we thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.

Now available for download are entry forms and rules for the 2021 Seventeenth Anniversary tournament to be held at the Ephrata Senior High School. In a few days, entry forms should be available from Mr. Geyer (Room 129, High School) and Mr. Wealand (PE Locker Room Office, Middle/Intermediate School).

The tournament is scheduled to be played on November 12th and 13th. Do note that we are hopeful to have this tournament as scheduled, but State and Local guidelines will ultimately determine our fate. We will certainly keep everyone posted.

Seventeenth Anniversary Tournament Announced

Preparations have begun for the seventeenth annual Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament. This year's tournament will once again be sponsored in part by www.ephratamounts.com and the Ephrata Basketball Booster Club.

We are pleased to announce that the tournament dates have been set for November 12th and 13th.

There will once again be three divisions, the age requirements for each division are as follows: Rookie (5th and 6th grades only), Junior Circuit (7th and 8th grades only), and the Senior Circuit (9th through 12th grades only).

We will soon have download material ready.

Sixteenth Ephrata Dodgeball Tournament Fall 2019

Dodgeball for Diabetes celebrated the sixteenth annual Dodgeball Tournament, crowning three champions for the Fall of 2019. The tournament featured thirty-three teams comprising of over 221 players all of which came together to to have fun, while raising money for Juvenile Diabetes.

The Tournament, designed to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes, raised over $6,700.

The Champions of each circuit are listed below, but in my mind the real winners are the teams that raised more than the minimum required amount.

Locally one team raised $835 on their own, and for their efforts, members of the "Super Soccer Dodgers" received a bundle of dodgeball clothes and memorabilia. Also earning top honors in the Senior Circuit "Orange Crush" raised $501.
